Riding Rules

Wear a helmet – Helmets are required when riding a bike or e-bike. They are strongly recommended when riding an e-scooter.
Check your brakes – Make sure your brakes are working properly before riding.
Use lights in low visibility – Use appropriate front and rear lights when riding at night or when visibility is poor.
Stay visible – Bikes must have the required reflectors. If your pedals do not have reflectors, reflective material is required when riding at night.
Keep left – When riding on the road, keep as far left as is safe.
Respect others – Follow road signs and traffic rules, and give way to pedestrians when using shared paths.
